Washing your face is probably the quickest way to feel fresh. It will wake you up & you can start your day with a fresh canvas & a fresh mind. When you're feeling down inside, putting your external self together can be just the fix. Feeling good on the outside can translate to our inner selves quicker than we think.
BREAK IN A NEW PAIR OF SHOES
Give yourself something else to think about. Like breaking in a new pair of shoes. It's never easy breaking in a new pair of shoes. There may be discomfort but it is rewarding & it is almost guaranteed to be less stressful than other parts of your day. Instead of stressing about what's coming up next during the day, you'll be ready to conquer it because you've already conquered breaking in your new shoes.
TRY ON YOUR ENTIRE CLOSET UNTIL YOU FEEL FABULOUS
Taking your mind off of your worries for a period of time can almost always help you. Taking an extra few minutes to find that perfect outfit can be the distraction that saves your day! (even if you do end up a few minutes late to work lol) Make sure you feel great and the rest of the day will be great.
